Death and Loss

- Death is unavoidable in life

- In the book it tells us Death doesn't have to be feared because while Death is the narrator he explains to us he is gentle and has human characteristics.

- Death sometimes comes too quick and can be difficult to deal with in life, like how Max copes with the death in his life and how Leisel's brother died.
