Adaptations and Habitat

The Kakapo are scattered around New Zealand. They have been moving more south over the past years and have now been stationed on an island. The Kakapo live in the forest and scavenge the lands for berries and fruit. They only eat leafy goods making them vegetarian. Kakapo's used to live were they can't be preyed on but animals such as cats have made it to their lands. Felines such as cats are the biggest threat to Kakapo's. Since the Kakapo can't defend their self they are basically a target.
