~Cut hair either one length or graduated
~Cut a front and side perimeter either one length or graduated
~Part the hair ear to ear
~Create a 1" vertical subsection in the front
~At 90 degrees, cut the hair to the safety section
~Layer the front by cutting 1" subsections to the guide
~Continue the guide in the back
~Layer the back by cutting 1" subsections to the guide
~Check horizontally
