Clang and Neologism
Clang - A manner of speech presented by some psychiatric patients during psychotic episodes. Clanging involves choosing words based on their sound rather than their meaning. This involves rhyming or alliteration.
An example of a clanging sentence is "He walked
the dog eggnog, frog, clog, soggy, simple
sentence."
Neologism - Use of words that have meaning only to the person who uses them, independent of their common meaning
