Lindbergh was the first person to fly nonstop across the Atlantic. He flew 3,600 miles in 33 hours and became an inspiration to many after his accomplishments. ("Major Events of the 1920's")
Amelia Earhart became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. Unfortunately, she disappeared during an attempt to circumnavigate the globe nine years later. ("Amelia Earhart")
The Model T Ford became the first released affordable car in 1923. Each car cost $335. Ford's market capitalization exceeds $1 billion in 1924.
