My grandparents are getting to a point in there lives where they can't take care of themselves independently. Many events have occurred in three short months, I bought my grandparents house and now my family and my grandparents live in one house. This change affected my budget slightly, I'm actually paying less money for housing each month. While my husband and I got to work a nurse from Nurse Next Door comes and takes care of my grandparents. Nurse Jenna comes in 7 hours a day for 5 days a week. The cost is 4000 dollars a month, my grandparents pay 300 and I pay the rest, taking that out of different places in my budget each month.
