Allegorical Sense

Theme:

The theme of the second Maccabees 5-7 is trust in God. Without trust in God, the Jewish people would not have had the courage to revolt.

The Second Maccabees relates to Adam and Eve because Adam and Eve has to trust God when he says not to eat fruit from a certain tree.
