Structures of the skeletal system
The structures in the skeletal system are:
-Bones, are the main part of the skeletal system, bones are made up of yellow/red bone marrow, compact bone, spongy bone, and the outer membrane or periosteum.
-Cartilage, is a connective tissue, but it is more flexible than bone.
-Ligament, is a strong connective tissue that connects a bone to a bone.
-Tendons, are connective tissue that connects bone to muscle.
