Bone Fractures
-A fracture is the medical term for a broken bone.
-Fractures occur when a physical force stronger than the bone are applied to the bone.
-There are many different types of bone fractures some of the most common are:
-Greenstick fracture, This fracture is the most common in children and is only a crack in the bone.
-Simple fracture, a broken bone but has not pierced the skin.
-Compound fracture, The bone is broken, sticks out of the skin, and is more likely to bleeding.
