From childhood to old age
Girls and boys are considered babies until they are one year old. During this stage, they grow very quickly. They learn how to eat, walk and make sounds, and their first milk teeth appear.
Children continue to grow after the first year, but at a slower rate. Their bones and muscles get stronger, and at the age of six their adult teeth start to appear.
They start to look after themselves, relate to other people, and learn to speak fluently. They also learn about the world around them
Childhood
