Carol,

Happy 60th birthday! We pray this is a special one for you, and that the biggest memory of this birthday will be how much you are loved by so many. As we’ve reflected on this celebration, we recognize that you have been really blessed, and in return you have blessed many. You have a caring heart and a deep desire to care for those around you. From my days in high school when you covered for me, early on in our relationship when you were willing to ask hard questions, you have always been willing to reach out and demonstrate love and care in tangible ways. In so many ways you have been a big part of the glue that has held this family together, during the joyful times as well as the heartaches. We are incredibly grateful for who you are, the role you have and continue to play. You reflect those values of faith, family and friends in remarkable ways. May you continue to and increasingly understand, receive and reflect God’s love for you and for those He puts in your path. We love you and are thankful for and your family. Our verse for you is Ephesians 2:8-10.
