What I learned

I believe we were meant to discover that as the concentration of sucrose becomes more powerful, the vegetable mass decreases. This is because the water in the vegetable diffuses into the solution. This is referred to as a hypertonic solution. If there were more salutes inside the cell, the water would be entering to make it equal; then it would be a hypotonic solution.
