AFFECTS OF CHEMICAL FIRES

Chemical fires are really dangerous and is unhealthy for the environment. When burning, it creates large clouds of chemical pollution that will float up into the air and pollute the atmosphere and harm the nearby residents as well as harm the surrounding animals and contribute to global warming. One type of commonly used chemical burning is incineration/waste burning. It is an alternative for landfills but is equally as bad. When burning the waste, it can form new types of chemicals such as petroleum, acids, cyanide, and other metals in the form of ashes. The ashes then could become buried into the ground contaminating ground water and nearby water systems or fly through the air and poision the environment. This can cause much harm to the environment itself and the surrounding people and animals.
