Muhammad Ali
Was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville Kentucky.
His parents were Odessa Grady Clay and Cassius Marcellus Clay Sr.
Growing up, his father painted billboards and his mother was a household domestic.
In his lifetime, Ali had 4 wives and 9 children.
The major obstacle Ali had to overcome was the color of his skin in a racist society. A struggle he encountered was when his medals were stripped from him when he refused to join the army.
