What toys were popular amongst girls?

From the book, I remember hearing them mention Gretels dolls, so I decided to do some research. The book was right! A common toy among the girls was porcelain dolls and teddy bears. They aren't too different from kids now a days. Some girls would collect them like Gretel and others would use them to play, pictures can be seen to the right.

Boys toys were a little trickier. Most of the time they had to use their imaginations but they also had things like toy soliders. In the book we see examples of Bruno using his imagination to create adventures. As seen to the left, boys got toys too. Even though they got a miniature hitler to play with, it's still something, right?
