Change in Art

-World War 2 forced them to move in January 1941 to the Neatherlands. He lived their until 1970.

- Better known works were known from this period.

-Weather was cloudy, cold and wet. This caused him to spend more time on his artwork.

-For a time after his surgery he did not work on his art.
