Tom has been based in the Middle East since 1971, and has lived and/or worked in Iran, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar and Oman.

He has worked in a range of different industries, including training, education, professional services, oil and gas, metals, environmental sustainability and general trading with leading companies.
