* He was married at age 13 to a 14 year old named Kasturbai Makhanji Kapadia.
* At age 15 Gandhi and Kasurbai had their first child, but the child only survived a few days; the same year, 1885, Gandhi's father had died.
* Later on in life, Gandhi had 4 more children; Harilal, Manilal, Ramdas, and Devdas.
