🌟Early life🌟
* Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869
* His Bapak, which means father in Indonesian, was the chief minister of Porbandar.
* Gandhi went to study law in London at age 19 at one of the city's four law colleges, The Inner Temple.
* When he returned home in mid 1891, he went to Bombay to set up law practice, but he met with little success.
* After realizing his plan didn't work, he accepted a position with an Indian firm.
* Then he was put in office in South Africa.
* Gandhi stayed in South Africa for about 20 years
* A European judge asked him to remove his Turban, headdress made of silk/cotton, and he refused, then walked out of the courtroom.
* While he was making a train trip, he was kicked out of the first-class railway comp. and was also beaten by a white stagecoach driver, someone who drives a cart pulled by. 2 or more horses, only because he didn't give up his seat.
