Life Accomplishments...

By 1985 Gary Soto had produced four books of poetry and had been published in lots of poetry magazines. In 1990 he starts writing children's books. Gary Soto is the Young People Ambassador for the United Farm Workers of America, which means that during his visits to libraries and schools, he introduces kids to the legacy of the United Farm Workers organization.
