I took Emma to the doctors today. I found out that her mother was a drug addict. She smoked marijuana while she was pregnant with Emma. The doctor said that Emma was lucky because she could have been stillborn, but wasn't too affected. Emma does have many other problems, unfortunately. She has a low-birth weight and fetal abnormalities, mainly in the nervous system. The doctor told me there are things I can do to help her. I am planning on doing all I can to help Emma and make sure that she gets healthy.
