Conclusions

National-socialist art and aesthetics is abstruse and did not bring any new ideas. Art during NS was reproduction of ideology.
Although not many objects of Nazi art survived, the political movement had nevertheless an decisive impact on German culture, as the innovative culture of Weimar was oppressively interrupted. A simple restart after 1945 was made impossible.
