Although it was technically published after the death of Queen Victoria, The Phantom of the Opera is still considered Victorian literature. The Phantom Of the Opera was one of the first gothic literature pieces to be released leading a flood of other stories.

Oliver Twist was published in 1838 at the start of the Victorian Era and is considered classic Victorian literature along with other works of Charles Dickens.
