Some restrictions on women include a complete ban on women's work and activity outside of the home, they cannot play sports, they cannot use the same transportation as men, and they cannot wear brightly colored clothing. Women also must wear a long veil called a Burqa and if their ankles are showing they will be whipped and beaten.
