Punishments

Punishments towards women are carried out publicly in sport stadiums, town squares or spontaneous street beatings. Punishments may come from individual militias with permission from the Taliban or from the Taliban themselves.

Punishments can include:

Whipping, execution, stoning, harassment, and imprisonment.
