CLOTHING & HOUSING

Just like any country, the type of clothing and housing change from region to region. In the larger cities such as Johannesburg or Capetown, they wear normal clothes such as t-shirts and shorts. The homes in these cities are also a lot like ours and do have electricity and plumbing. Once you begin to move further out of the cities, you find the tribes and people living in poverty. Their clothing and housing are different.

TYPICAL HOMES

Homes inside and just outside the city tend to look like this or with bricks.

CLOTHING

Light weight. Lot hint is suggested for living in South Africa since it is usually hot. You might also want a jacket for the rainy and cooler seasons.

POVERTY HOMES

The homes outside the city are rundown and lack electricity or plumbing.
