The Smoke Filled Room Experiment

This experiment was set up similarly to the bystander apathy experiment.

A student would go into a room to fill out a paper

Smoke would come from under the door, as if there were a fire

When the experiment was performed on a single student (variable), the student would react

When the same experiment was tested on a group (variable), the subjects would rarely react if no one else seemed worried.
