This part was the most tedious, as we had to completely cover the body.

Wrapping the finished mummy

Our next step was to wrap the mummy with linen, however, we used gauze, as linen is not usually a household item. This process was done to prevent the mummy from touching outdoor forces, so that it would have a smaller chance to decompose, which would let it remain in the afterlife.

We used gauze to wrap the mummy by creating an initial layer of gauze, and then adding strips of gauze to cover the rest of the mummy. At least, this is what I did. The mummy felt very fuzzy, but pressing down on it, we could feel the internal potato, which was still about as hard as a rock.
