Why Saint Marcellin is where he is.

St. Marcellin started off his first day of school pretty much the worst way you could have started. He decided to leave after the FIRST day because he didn't want to be a part of it. He decided to then join the seminary and he failed out once, but was then readmitted with the help of his mom. After he was ordained he had one instance which really changed his life and ours as well. He went to go visit his friend John Baptiste of 17 years old who was very sick and dying. What shocked Marcellin the most was that John had absolutely no knowledge about Jesus or the faith. This event motivated Marcellin to form the Marist brothers and teach children about the faith.
