Slow Changes on Earth

Earth's surface is always changing. Sometimes, it can change slowly. While other times, it can change quickly. Earth can change slowly by erosion, deposition, and weathering. Wind can carry bits or sharp particles of sand or rock.

These particles hit the soft parts of a rock. The soft then slowly break away. Water can also change land slowly.

The water crashes ferociously into the strong an sturdy rock. The impact of the water slowly erodes the rock.

Abrasion can also change land slowly. Plates of rock slowly fall and break other rock.
