Fast Changes on Earth

Earth can change sluggishly, but how can Earth change rapidly? There are three natural disasters that speedily change Earth. Landslides are one of the natural disasters that change a Earth really fast. A landslide is like a giant mudslide that is made of rocks, boulders, grass, and other minerals. A landslide can quickly damage the Earth's surface.

Earthquakes also damage or change Earth a lot. An earthquake happen when two plates of land brush against each other. When it does brush against each other, something called a fault appears. It can be a normal fault. In a normal fault, the upper plate moves down while the below one goes up. A reverse fault is when the upper plate goes up and the lower one goes down. On a strike slip fault, the plate moves horizontally.
