How do twins become conjoined?

It happens when a fertilized egg divides as it would in cases of identical twins, but doesn't fully separate. Conjoined twins occur in about one in 200,000 births, with around half of them not surviving.

A’zhari and A’zhiah

•They were born on October 10 by c- section.

•They were joined at the abdomen, making them thoracopagus twins.

•They also shared a liver and pericardium.

•The survival rate is between 5 & 25%.
