Broad Leaf
Just like the grass the first layer on the leaf is the upper epidermal cell that is usually clear and protects the inside of the leaf. The palisade mesophyll layer is next and is the part that makes the leaf look green and also protects some cells. The large white lines that are all over the leaf are the vascular bundles. Leaves happen to have one of the more well known and easy to see vascular bundles. We cannot see the airspace or spongy mesophyll cells my but they are in the leaf cell. The final part is the lower mesophyll layer that is clear.
