How did AA survive the kkk

life for African Americans got very hard due to the kkk they feared that at anytime a group of them would kill them at anytime. They lived in fear everyday, not to even mention that they were controlled by segregation and Jim Crow laws. Everyday they would have to die the correct thing to not get noticed by the kkk.
