Specific groups in Canada

Canada was colonized by the arrival of Paleo Indians thousands of years ago. Aboriginal peoples also originated in Canada. Some of these civilizations had long faded by the time of the first European arrivals. The French and British especially colonized a lot of Canada which is why to this day Canada has many French speaking provinces.
