Explaining hindrances that could influence the safety and accuracy of the hoist system

Electrical hazards

-Never set up a hoist system near power lines. The reason for this is because if the power line comes in contact with the hoist while it's moving materials nearby or under a power line it can electrocute the person touching the system, he is the one affected most in this hazard, although the the personnel around could be affected also.

-You can prevent this by being cautious of the area you choose to place your hoist system at.

Falling Materials

-When materials are not properly secured the load could slip and land on workers in the area and cause damage to the property.

-To prevent this from happening the operator should know how to load the hoist safely and be aware of how much load the hoist can hold.
