The first formula is trying to figure out the distance from one point to another
Formula for a simple line:
=a+b/2
This formula line would be used if a construction company wants to place a house in the middle of house A and house B using the formula will help them find what they're looking for
Recognizing the importance of the midpoint distance relating to construction
The second formula draws you closer to find the middle location in a blueprint. It's important to be exact so the builder know the right measurements.
Formula:
x1+x2/2 , y1+y2/2
You could use this formula with the example to the left, you just cannot estimate where the middle is. You plug the two coordinates in the formula and do the math
