Ötzi is thought to be a hunter or Shepard, but living with a community of people who had just started farming. They also think that he was a person of great importance in the community. That's thought to be because of the fact that he held a copper axe with him, something rare back then. He must've had a family as they are about 17 people today with his direct DNA.
