Why

When freshman year started, I wasn't really friends with anyone. Just how Charlie had no one to sit with at the first football game, I had no one to sit with at lunch. Until a senior, Sean, talked to me. I sat with him and his friends at lunch, talked to him before and after school. We talked a lot about books, adventure, and writing. We especially talked about his favorite which is Catcher in the Rye. Just how Mr. Anderson gave books to Charlie to read, Sean recommended books to me that he thought were great. I even read Catcher in the Rye and Looking for Alaska. One day Sean said to me that he thinks I'm Charlie and he's Sam, in the friendship kind of way. Reading the beginning made me love it and I could relate to Charlie in some way. In the end, Sam leaves to a college that's far away but agrees with Charlie to stay in touch. To this day, despite the fact Sean goes to college in Iowa, I still keep in touch with Sean.
