Like America, Slovaks practice monogamy. Monogamy is when you have free choice of whom you marry but, it is preferred that the couple practices the same religion. Slovakian children are expected to be quiet, responsible, and respectful as well as keeping their clothes clean. Greetings are expected, and they are very similar to our greetings. Also Slovaks pass down stories down each generation.
