In this experiment, I first mixed Epsom salt with menthanol to make a white flame, no salt and menthanol to make a blue violet flame, and borax with menthanol to make a green flame. After I lit the Epsom salt with menthanol I watched it for about ten minutes and I could see a clear flame for a couple seconds. After I lit the no salt and menthanol I watched it for 10 minutes and I could see a purplish flame every once in a while. After I lit the borax and menthanol I watched it for about 7 minutes and it went out.
