My conclusion for this experiment was that when I mixed the Epsom salt with menthanol and waited ten minutes, I saw clear flame. When I mixed the no salt with menthanol and waited ten minutes I saw purplish flames for a few seconds, and when I mixed borax and menthanol and waited 7 minutes the fire died. If I did this experiment again, I would use more menthanol and Epsom salt, no salt, and borax.
