Genesis 12: 1-20

- God speaks to Abram, who he renames Abraham

-God promises Abraham that he would father a great nation, these people will be gods chosen nation, and tells Abraham of the coming of the messiah

-God's chosen nation were the witnesses of God for the world, which shows that God eventually wants everyone to be part of his plan for salvation, and the people of God want everyone to join them, just like gods nations
