The relationship between time and total cost is nonproportional.

The relationship between time and total cost is proportional.

We have come to the conclusion that the relationship between time and total cost is nonproportional because although the graph is a line, it does not pass through the origin. Our conclusion is also supported by the fact that the simplest form of each ordered pair is not even, which means there is no constant of proportionality
