First we used this website, which allowed us to compare the prices of parking in San Jose. We then picked two random car garages from the website and found their rates and service charges. The two companies we picked had different units of time for their rates (3rd Street Garage charged per 20 min., and Laz Parking charged per 15 min.). We converted the Laz Parking to per 20 min. to get the rates. Only the 3rd Street Garage has a service charge, which is $5. Our final results are found to the left.
