What is it?

Prosthetic technicians can work either in the NHS, or for a private contractor, supplying a prosthetic service to the NHS. A technician's main job is to manufacture the various types of prosthetic devices (prostheses) supplied by their unit. Prosthetics patients require prostheses to replace missing limbs to allow them to lead as independent a life as possible.

Why?

I would like to work in this industry because it serves for the disabled and injured.
