Michelangelo Buonarroti has exerted an unparalleled influence on the development of Western Art.
His teacher was Domenico Ghirlandaio.
His father was a high-ranking member of the city government. His mother died when he was 6 years old.

Buonarroti was born on 6 March 1475 in Caprese, Italy.
In 1488 Michelangelo went to an art studio of Domenico Ghirlandaio.
He moved into the school of the sculptor Bertoldo di Giovanny existing under Lorenzo de Medici's patronage.
On the scale of the activity he was the original station wagon-the ingenious sculptor, the great painter, the architect, the poet, the thinker.
