The front desk is the nucleus of the library because like an actual nucleus it holds all the information and can instruct you where to go and tell you what you can do.

Children's section

The children's section is the library's mitochondria because it provokes the most energy and excitement for kids. With children laughing, running around, and learning hands on the children's section is easily the most energetic and lively place in the library.
