In the beginning Matt's father went to go get Matt's Mom for a couple months while Matt is left with a rifle a comes across with a man names Ben. At first Matt trusted Ben but then the next morning Ben was gone and so was the rifle. So now Matt needs to get fish and other food but trys to climb a tree and get honey but then Matt gets chased and is saved by a Indian name Attean. Attean realizes Matt is alone so he takes care of him and teaches him to hunt.
