Community Engagement Plan

Through the process of developing SBCUSD’s community engagement plan there were numerous meetings with key stakeholders, such as parents and community group leaders. During these meetings, a repeated concern was the lack of mentorship opportunities in our schools and community. As well as opportunities for students to develop the skills needed for career and college readiness.

Over 2,500 of our students are graduating from high school unprepared to enter a 4-year university.
